Meow Taboo, VIP, and Egyptian Treasures...

I finally got my Meow haul last Friday! I waited 10 days for them to process and ship my order... and another 2 days for USPS transit. It's worth the wait though. :)

I really like the Taboo blushes, so I got full size jars of Centerfold (a medium coral rose), Hot (a glowing red rose), Nudity (a soft glowing rose with a hint of mauve), Racy (a warm pink shade with a golden glow), Risque (a neutral toned berry), and Saucy (a raspberry pink shade with a hint of gold iridescence).

I also ordered samples of their new VIP (Very Intensely Pigmented) blushes. I can't wait to try these! I'll try to post some swatches later when I have more time to play.

I wanted to try their Egyptian Treasures blushes as well... Nefertiti, Isis, and Cleopatra.

Free samples of Modern Eyes Ducat and Fur Flyin'.

My 1st Meow haul!

I've been wanting to try Meow for a while now, so when they had a 20% off discount for Halloween, I filled my cart with blush samples and a few foundation samples.

Here's what all I got in the mail yesterday...

Samples of Naughty Abyssinian (yellow/beige) and Naughty Manx (yellow/peach) in Flawless Feline and Pampered Puss. Naughty Abyssinian looks like a good match, while Naughty Manx appears a bit too light. Flawless Feline gives me perfect coverage without feeling stiff or looking cakey. As its name suggests, my skin looks flawless with it. However, it does make me itch when I get warm or sweat. Pampered Puss is sheer and matte. It's supposed to be layerable, but it doesn't give me the amount of coverage I need. It does make me itch a little bit too, which is odd because it's supposed to be good for sensitive skin.

I also received free samples of Ideal Eyes "Sabertooth" and Feliner "Neurotic".

Samples from their original line of blushes...

Samples from the Firefly Blush collection...

Samples from the Lush Blush collection...

Samples from the Masterpiece Blush collection...

And samples from the Taboo Blush collection...

It's gonna take me a while to get these transferred into my tiny pink jars. LOL!

Samples are pretty in pink jars...

I started decanting the samples I got into 5g jars yesterday. Lumiere's samples came up to about half a jar, which is reasonably generous... while Joppa's samples contained very little product (about 1/8 of a jar... looks about 1/16 of a teaspoon to me).

So far, I really like Aromaleigh's blushes. They are all so pretty and unique! Lumiere's blushes are really nice too. Joppa's blushes look okay, but I don't like the lack of email support or customer service. I've tried emailing them to ask about the size of their blushes (the website only says $10 for small and $15 for medium), but I've gotten no response. I guess my question wasn't that important, but sizes vary from company to company, and I want to know how much product is in a "small" or "medium" size before I purchase anything. I don't want to guess or assume (like I assumed their samples are as generous as other MMU companies'). Joppa is also a little more expensive than the other brands I've tried, so I don't know if I'll be ordering from them any time soon (or ever again) as there are many other things I want to buy from Aromaleigh and Lumiere... plus, I want to try Meow too!

Meow is having a 20% off discount for Halloween, so I placed a huge order of sample blushes and a few sample foundation shades.

Speaking of samples... I recently got these cute little pink jars for my samples. :)
