Just a quick review of Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Bold Gold.
Bold Gold is a gorgeous antique gold with some shimmer. I love using this one all over the lid with MAC Ash Violet (or Macroviolet) as a liner, but on a lazy day I can wear this one on its own, and I'm ready to go.
I can't believe how much I love this product! I own all 10 of the shades currently available, and I hope they make more. It feels so soft and buttery, but once it sets, it stays put. I can wear this for about 8-10 hours with minimal creasing and fading. With a primer underneath and a powder eyeshadow on top, it lasts about 14-16 hours on me without any creasing or fading. I have not tested this for the full 24 hours because I wouldn't wear makeup for that long anyway. My favorite application method is with my fingers because it's super quick and easy, but you can also use a firm synthetic brush.
I wouldn't say the quality is better than MAC Paint Pots or MUFE Aqua Creams, but I think it's comparable. It's a great value because you get quite a good amount of product (0.14 oz.) for the price ($6.99). Packaging-wise, I love it! It comes in a heavy glass jar with a black good-fitting screw-on lid, which makes it look more expensive than it is.
Have you tried Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadows yet? Do you have any favorite colors? What do you think of Bold Gold?
Disclosure: The products featured in this review have been purchased by me. All opinions are honest and completely mine.
I recently got Tough as Taupe and Bad to the Bronze and I'm already obsessed! I wore Bad to the Bronze all over my lid yesterday with bright pink lips and I loved it :D I wanna get more shades, like the orange and the reddish one, which we don't get in Europe! x
ReplyDeleteBad to the Bronze goes so well with everything. When paired with bright lips, you can achieve a quick and easy fabulous look! Definitely check out more shades. :)

DeleteWOW this is a great review! I have ridiculously oily lids and nothing stays on them, but I might give this a try. Thanks!
