Here's a quick review of Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Tough as Taupe.
Tough as Taupe is a matte dark brownish gray. It's not a color I would wear on its own because it doesn't work well with my skintone, but I use this all the time as a base for a daytime smokey eye.
The quality is surprisingly high. The texture feels soft and creamy, but once it sets, it won't smudge at all. I can wear this for about 8-10 hours with minimal creasing and fading. With a primer underneath and a powder eyeshadow over it, it lasts about 14-16 hours on me without any creasing or fading. I have not tested this for the full 24 hours because I would never need to wear an eyeshadow for that long. My favorite application method is with my fingertips because it's super quick and easy, but you can also use a firm synthetic brush of your choice.
I wouldn't say the quality is better than MAC Paint Pots or MUFE Aqua Creams, but I think it's absolutely comparable. It's a fantastic value because you get quite a good amount of product (0.14 oz.) for the price ($6.99). Packaging-wise, I love it! It comes in a heavy glass jar with a black good-fitting screw-on lid, which makes it look more expensive than it is.
