I don’t have bangs, but I still get a bunch of strands in my face when I’m washing my face or doing my makeup, so I was really curious when I first heard about the Dariya Hair Pad.
These are extremely popular in Asia, and I've also seen YouTube gurus use these during makeup tutorials. (Like one of my favorites Leesha/xSparkage on this video at 1:00.)
So, what is it? The Dariya Hair Pad is basically a special velcro hair pad that hold your hair gently in place. I like it because it’s very lightweight, completely ouchless, and doesn’t budge. It really does a better job than hair bands and/or clips. It's quick, easy, and doesn't mess up your hairstyle.
These come in 3 colors (black, blue, and pink). Each pack includes two pads and usually cost $7.99. These are on sale right now for $4.99 at AJHairPad. Would I recommend this? Yes, definitely. These are very useful. Would I repurchase? If I have to, but I think these would last a very long time if taken care of.
What do you think? What do you do with your hair while you're applying makeup?

I just use a headband from the 99¢ store when I wash my face or apply makeup. I used to see these in Japan all the time but I guess I never saw the necessity for them.
ReplyDelete@Wendy: A headband would certainly be cheaper and more easily available. (^_^)
