MAC Posh Paradise hit the stores last Thursday. There are eight Paint Pots included in this collection.
MAC Treasure Hunt Paint Pot:
MAC Genuine Treasure Paint Pot:
MAC Nubile Paint Pot:
MAC Idyllic Paint Pot:
MAC Half-Wild Paint Pot:
MAC Hyperviolet Paint Pot:
MAC Pure Creation Paint Pot:
MAC Imaginary Paint Pot:
Treasure Hunt is a frosty light yellow gold. Genuine Treasure is a glittery golden bronze, which is sheer but buildable. It can also be used as a base or layered over another shade to give it some oomph.
Nubile is a light peachy nude with a slight pearly sheen. Idyllic is a brownish burgundy red with a frost finish. These two shades are surprisingly amazing! I'm really glad I got these.
Half-Wild is a medium purple with red undertones and very fine shimmer. This shade is gorgeous! No wonder it sold out so quickly. Hyperviolet is a blackened eggplant purple, which is more of a cream or satin finish.
Pure Creation is a frosty midtone cerulean blue, which is just absolutely beautiful. Imaginary is a blackened navy blue with a frost finish. This is a great color, which appears like a blackened purple in some lighting. Almost duochrome-y.
I LOVE these MAC Paint Pots! They are smooth, creamy and blend easily. They can be used as an eyeshadow base or worn alone as a quick wash of color on a lazy day. They can be sheered out, applied heavily, or layered to a desired intensity. And most importantly, they last for hours on end without creasing or fading.
Are any of you getting anything from this collection? What's on your list? Have you tried MAC Paint Pots yet? How do you like them?
Disclosure: The products featured in the review have been purchased by me. All opinions are honest and my own.
Ugh I love the look of Idyllic and Imaginary, probably because they resemble a couple of the Illamasqua Liquid Metals. They no doubt have a superior formula to the Liquid Metals though. :)
ReplyDeletewow nice swatches! thanks
ReplyDeleteThese look so, so pretty! Nubile is a must have to me, and Idyllic is awesome.
ReplyDelete@SilhouetteScreams: I love those two! Idyllic would be perfect as a base for Smoked Ruby MES... and Imaginary under Blue Sheen MES.
ReplyDelete@Lexa: Thank you!
@YellowJade: Ah, yes. Nubile is a must-have. It will get a lot of use from me. ITA. Idyllic is pretty awesome.

Awesome swatches and review! I love the look of Idyllic, it's such a beautiful color for fall. *_* Half-Wild is also very nice, too bad it's sold out now... I think I might end up getting Idyllic, though... it would be my first paint pot, yay. :P
ReplyDeletePS. Saw your swatches on Specktra and decided to give your blog a look, just followed you! ;)
I was waiting for your beautiful swatches ;) here in Italy I have preordered Half wild, pure creation and Imaginary! I also liked Idyllic but Posh Paradise anf Fall color collections launch on the same day!
ReplyDelete@socialitedreams: Looking forward to your looks using Imaginary! I don't think I have Groundwork. I may have to get that one.
ReplyDelete@Wendy: Thank you! And yay Specktra! Just followed you too. I agree. Idyllic is perfect for fall. Get Idyllic. You won't regret it! :D
@xasperadastra: Those are great choices! I know what you mean. I think my Fall Color haul might be small because I already spent money on Posh Paradise and last minute Bloggers Collection.
YEP, it is true MAC should pay you for the swatches ....lol you just added more to their sales from me. Going to pick up a few more of those . Thanks Jen. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, Brenda! Which ones are you getting?
ReplyDeleteYou got all 8?! That is what I'm going to do as well now when I get paid. I have Nubile coming in the mail sometime this week and I already got Pure Creation, Half-Wild and Imaginary.
ReplyDelete@Jacquelyn: Yeah, this is one of the collections I've been really excited about this year. At first, I wasn't sure about Genuine Treasure, Nubile, Idyllic, or Hyperviolet, but I'm really glad I got them all because they're all great. :)
