MAC Posh Paradise Mattenes Review & Swatches

MAC Posh Paradise recently launched ten new and limited edition Mattenes. I am usually not a big fan of matte lipsticks. In fact, the only matte lipsticks in my collection are Russian Red and Candy Yum-Yum. However, I decided to try a couple of Mattenes because I've heard great things about them, and the two shades that really caught my attention are Deliciously Forbidden and Rare Exotic.

Deliciously Forbidden is a midtone rosy berry pink. It's a lovely shade that's universally flattering. (Sorry... my lips were so dry...)

Rare Exotic is a bright fuchsia pink. This one's hot hot HOT!

I think these shades are both fantastic and outstanding. I wouldn't call these matte. They're more of a semi-matte. The texture is light, smooth, and creamy. They apply beautifully and provide an opaque color coverage. The formula has great lasting power without drying out your lips. I wish MAC would make these permanent!

Are any of you getting anything from this collection? What's on your list? Have you tried MAC Mattenes yet? How do you like them?

Disclosure: The products featured in the review have been purchased by me. All opinions are honest and my own.
