I purchased these Wet 'n' Wild Color Icon Eyeshadow Trios earlier this year when I first wanted to try this brand, and I've been so impressed that I ended up buying every WnW Color Icon Eyeshadow available (singles, trios, 6-pans, and 8-pans). Still a bit sad that I could not find the limited edition WnW Dream Weavers Collection anywhere, so I thought why not just play with the trios I already own from their permanent line.
331 - I Dream of Greenie:
"I Dream of Greenie" contains a frosty pale mint green browbone shade, a shimmery medium grass green crease shade, and a shimmery bright lime green eyelid shade. One of my favorite trios!
332 - I'm Feeling Retro:
"I'm Feeling Retro" includes a frosty white browbone shade, a frosty medium blue crease shade, and a fuchsia pink eyelid shade with an iridescent purple sheen. I really like the colors in this trio, especially that fuchsia-pink shade, which has an almost-duochrome look to it.
333 - I Got Good Jeans:
"I Got Good Jeans" consists of a metallic silvery pale blue browbone shade, a frosty navy blue crease shade, and a metallic yellow gold eyelid shade. The pale blue shade doesn't work as a highlighter for my skin tone, but I love it all over my lid.
334 - I'm Getting Sunburned:
"I'm Getting Sunburned" contains a frosty light pink browbone shade, a dark brown crease shade with copper shimmer, and a metallic coppery bronze eyelid shade. I prefer to use the light pink shade as an eyelid color rather than as a browbone color because of how frosty and pigmented it is. I really like the coppery bronze shade, but the dark brown can have a bit of fallout.
335 - Silent Treatment:
"Silent Treatment" includes a shimmery light peach browbone shade, a dark brown crease shade with gold shimmer, and a shimmery purple taupe eyelid shade. I LOVE this trio! I reach for this one regularly when I only have a few minutes in the mornings.
336 - Spoiled Brat:
"Spoiled Brat" consists of a metallic silver browbone shade, a soft matte black crease shade with silver sparkles, and a satin fuchsia pink eyelid shade. I really like the color combo in this trio, but the black shade could have been a bit more pigmented.
Overall, I love these trios! Without a doubt, these are some of the best eyeshadows you'll find in the drugstore. The eyeshadows are soft, smooth, and super pigmented. They apply nicely and blend easily. I've worn these for at least 8 hours over UDPP (sometimes TFSI) without any fading or creasing. Amazing quality at a very affordable price ($2.99)!
Have you tried any of these Wet 'n' Wild trios? If not, what is your favorite product from this brand? Share your thoughts!

ReplyDeleteHi, JennaRaeXoXo! Thanks for following. :)
ReplyDeleteHey girl!! I have 3 of the wet and wild palettes that you've mentioned, and I love them!
ReplyDeleteI'm Getting Sunburned is so beautiful, I've never tried Wet n Wild - it's a brand quite hard to get hold of in England but I might have to try and hunt this pretty trio down! x
ReplyDeleteSilent Treatment and Getting Sunburned look phenomenal.
ReplyDeletearrgh, waaaaaaaaaant.
Hi Jen! I did the exact same thing earlier this year and bought all their eyeshadows. Isn't it frustrating we don't seem to get the LE collections in the midwest? I ordered the LE trios online and it was so expensive :(
ReplyDelete@Gabelle519: Aren't they amazing? Which ones do you have?
ReplyDelete@Summer Loren: Ah, yes... I'm Getting Sunburned has some gorgeous colors in it.
@Gone2RehabBRB: Those are two of my favorites.
@Sarah S.: The stores in my area would sometimes have LE collections, but there are those like the Dream Weavers that are just hard to find. I've seen them on eBay, but I refuse to pay 2x or 3x the price.
Damnnnn wet n wild eye shades are so beautiful

Jen I have Silent Treatment and love it. I also like Getting Retro, Spoiled Brat, and Getting Sunburned. Did you get them all at one place or did you have to find them at different stores to find them all? =:0)
ReplyDelete@SadeeStyle: The colors truly are beautiful. Have you tried any of these trios yet?
ReplyDelete@4wheel: Hi, Brenda! I had to go to 2 stores to find them all. Luckily, they are only 5 minutes from each other.
Hey Jen!! Thats is great they were so close...can you tell me what stores you got them at? HTH =:0)
ReplyDelete@4wheel: I went to CVS. The 1st CVS I went to (South Cleveland Avenue) only had one or two, so I went to another CVS (East Dublin-Grandville Road), and they had everything. :)
ReplyDeleteUgh you make all of these look amazing. Great swatches as always :)
ReplyDeleteSilhouetteScreams: Thank you, Jerri. Have you tried any of these yet?
ReplyDeleteWow, I did not expect Wet n' Wild to have such a line. It makes eye makeup so easy and fun! Do they last all day? My only problem with eye shadows is that the less expensive brands tend to flake off and end up on my cheeks!
ReplyDelete@Adriana: I know what you mean. Same reason I used to stay away from drugstore makeup. That is until I tried Wet 'n' Wild. I've worn these to work, and they last all day (8 hours) with a good primer. I didn't notice any fallout except for the crease shade in "I'm Getting Sunburned" but it was very minimal.
ReplyDelete'Silent Treatment' is my favorite of the palettes - it is the closest to the colors I wear and my complexion. I'm glad to hear they don't flake off and I trust your review even more now because I also tend to stay away from drugstore makeup. Which primer do you recommend for eyelids?
ReplyDelete@Adriana: You could start with just one trio - Silent Treatment is a good one. Worth a try for $2.99. I use Urban Decay Primer Potion... or sometimes Too Faced Shadow Insurance.
ReplyDeletei got good jeans look super nice! i hate how these shadows break too easily but yes to their pigmentation!
ReplyDeleteYep. That's the only thing I don't like about them.
