Spice Mineral Cosmetics Eye Shadows

About a couple of month ago, I was introduced to Spice Mineral Cosmetics. I met the owner (Monica) on one of the forums I frequent (Chanty's MMU forum). Monica offered me 300 points (a generous $30 value redeemable at any time)! So, I went to their site and placed my first order.

I ordered their eye shadow collection sets... Flower Power (1st row), Inferno! (2nd row), and Like, Totally! (3rd row). Each eye shadow came packaged in a 5-gram shrink-wrapped jar with a sealed sifter.

The Flower Power collection includes 4 matte mineral eye shadows. Moss is a hazy gray-green color. Everglade is a really nice dark shade of blue-green. Creme Brulee is a creamy beige shade. And Chestnut is a reddish brown color.

The Inferno! collection includes 4 shimmer eye shadows. Black Ice is a pure black with some shimmer. Pharaoh is a soft, gently shimmering gold. Odyssey is a brilliant shimmery electric blue. It’s bold, but totally wearable. And Starlight is a silver-white shimmer.

And my favorite collection... Like, Totally! It includes 4 shimmering eye shadows. Shock! is a pretty shimmering shocking pink. Caribbean Blue is a beautiful ocean blue with some shimmer. Tealepathy is a sheer but buildable teal-green with golden shimmer. I LOVE THIS ONE! Royalty is one of their best sellers, and I can see why. It's a gorgeous mix of shimmery royal blue and royal purple.

These are all ultra-wearable and superbly blendable. They have a soft and silky smooth lightweight texture that glides easily onto eyelids. With a primer, they don't crease on me, and they last all day.

Unfortunately, they don't offer samples of anything other than their foundations, but their prices are very affordable. Each eye shadow is individually priced at $6.50 (special price), and the collections are only $20 per set.

The owner is really nice, and the products are of high quality, so I will definitely buy from them again. I think I might try their blushes next. Amaranth and Bashful are both on my wishlist.

  1. They look like some gorgeous shades! Though perhaps a bit too muted for my tastes ;]

  2. I usually go for bold, bright, shimmering colors, but I thought I needed more simple, natural shades. ^^
