Maybelline Tenacious Teal Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

I tend to love aquas/teals/turquoise, so of course I had to get Tenacious Teal. It's one of the first four shades I decided to try a few months ago (along with Bad to the Bronze, Bold Gold, and Edgy Emerald).

Tenacious Teal is a bright teal blue with silver shimmer. It is more blue than teal. It's a beautiful color on its own, but I also like to use it as an eyeliner or a base.

I really do like this product. It's rich and creamy, applies smoothly, and once it sets, it won't smudge or budge at all. I can wear this for about 8-10 hours with very slight creasing. With a primer and a powder eyeshadow to set, it lasts about 14-16 hours on me without any creasing or fading. I have not tested this for the full 24 hours because I would never need to wear an eyeshadow for a straight 24 hours. I find it applies best when I use my fingertips.

I wouldn't say the quality is better than MAC Paint Pots or MUFE Aqua Creams, but I think it's fairly comparable. This is a great product for the price. You get 0.14 oz. for $6.99 or less. It comes in a transparent glass pot with a black screw-on lid, which makes it look more expensive than it is.

I know some of you have purchased some Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadows? Did you pick up Tenacious Teal? What do you think of this shade?
