Maybelline Pomegranate Punk Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

Here's a quick review of Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadow in Pomegranate Punk.

Pomegranate Punk is a dark red-burgundy with microfine golden shimmer. It's beautiful as a base, eyeliner, or on its own as a wash. It looks similar to MAC Idyllic, one of my favorite Paint Pots.

I am truly impressed with this product. It has good color payoff and a creamy consistency. It dries quickly, and once it sets, it won't budge or smudge at all. I can wear this for about 8-10 hours with minimal creasing. With a primer and a powder eyeshadow to set, it lasts about 14-16 hours on me without any creasing or fading. I have not tested this for the full 24 hours because I would never need or want to wear an eyeshadow for that long.

I wouldn't say the quality is better than MAC Paint Pots or MUFE Aqua Creams, but I think it's very comparable. This is a great product for the price. You get 0.14 oz. for $6.99 or less. It comes in a nice heavy glass pot with a black twist-off lid.
