I was so impressed with the Maybelline Color Tattoo Eyeshadows that I decided to get a few more Maybelline products. Today's post will feature Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush in Candy Coral.
Candy Coral is a lovely peachy coral with a satiny, glowy finish. It's really sheer, but it's buildable. Perfect for a natural-barely-there blush.
This is a cream-to-powder blush that feels soft and smooth. The texture is interesting, squishy and clay-like. It's very easy to apply with your fingers, and it blends like a dream. I wish it was more pigmented, but I believe it was designed to be sheer. I do think it could last longer though. I only get about 2 hours of wear before it starts to fade away.
Have you tried any of the Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes? Did you pick up Candy Coral? What do you think of this shade?
Disclosure: The products featured in this review have been purchased by me. All opinions are honest and completely mine.
Oooh this is super pretty! 2-hour wear is pathetic though. I wonder if it's lip safe - it would make a gorgeous lip colour.
ReplyDeleteYep, the only reason I'm keeping it is (a) I love the shade, and (b) it's great for a no-fuss look when I have to run to the store real quick or something.
DeleteThis looks lovely but Im a bit disappointed with how long it lasts xx
ReplyDeleteI rarely reach for it because I'd like at least 6-8 hours of wear from my blushes.
DeleteThanks for the review! I just saw this in Ulta and was tempted to pick it up, however only 2 hours of wear seems disappointing :-/
ReplyDeleteThe bolder shades like Hot Tamale and Plum Wine seem to last a little longer, but they still don't make it through the entire day.
