theBalm Nude ‘tude Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I love theBalm eyeshadows, and I love neutrals, so when I saw the Nude 'tude eyeshadow palette on theBalm's website, I ordered one right away.

This palette contains twelve eyeshadows, a dual-ended eyeshadow/liner brush, and a mirror. I purchased the "Feeling Naughty" version, which features nude women with eyeshadows covering their naughty parts.

Sassy, Snobby, Stubborn, and Stand-offish:

Selfish, Sultry, Sophisticated, and Schitzo:

Sexy, Silly, Serious, and Sleek:

Sassy (L) and Snobby (R):

Sassy is a frosty white with good color payoff. Snobby is a shimmery golden yellow that is a bit on the sheer side, but it's buildable.

Stubborn (L) and Stand-offish (R):

Stubborn is a light peachy pink with a frost finish. Stand-offish is a metallic medium bronze. They both have decent color payoff.

Selfish (L) and Sultry (R):

Selfish is a frost brownish gray. Sultry is a matte medium brown. They both have very good pigmentation and a really soft, buttery texture.

Sophisticated (L) and Schitzo (R):

Sophisticated is a dark grayish brown with golden shimmer. Schitzo is a golden bronze with a frost finish. They both have good color payoff and apply smoothly.

Sexy (L) and Silly (R):

Sexy is a matte burgundy brown with nice pigmentation. Silly is a dark brown with copper sparkles. You might want to wear this one over a sticky base to avoid any fall out.

Serious (L) and Sleek (R):

Serious is a matte black. Sleek is a matte black-brown. They both have good pigmentation, and the texture is soft but not powdery.

Overall, I'm very happy and satisfied with my purchase. The quality is great. The texture is soft, smooth, and buttery . Most of them have good color pay off, and I did not have any problems with application and/or blending. I like the packaging because it's slim and lightweight, which makes it very travel-friendly. The eyeshadow/liner brush was just okay. I probably won't use it much, but it was a nice bonus.

What do you think of this palette? Have you tried anything from theBalm?

  6. Hi, Angela! Yes, definitely. Most of these shades are pretty neutral, some leaning toward warm.
