And this one's for Frckls who requested side-by-side swatches of Showstopper and Azalea. They do look very similar, but Showstopper is brighter and cooler than Azalea.

I also went ahead and included Shrieking Violet, Crazy Love, and Hibiscus. Crazy Love looks like the lipstick version of Shrieking Violet. Hibiscus is similar in tone to Showstopper, but Hibiscus is a bit more sheer and has a frost finish.

I placed an order for skincare samples just 2 days before the Tango Whiskey Sideshow Collection went out! Bummer. Showstopper is already in my cart but I plan to have it shipped with some skincare fullsizes. Hmp I think I'll just go ahead and have Showstopper and Crazy Love along with some stains, I guess.

@justltee: I love Gigi! It looks like a nice strawberry pink with one coat or a bright neon pink with 2 or 3 coats.
@4wheel: They look nearly the same to me when swatched on my arm and lips. The base color is very similar, but Shrieking Violet has that subtle blue interference.
I am suddenly curious about Simmer. Do you have one? How does it compare to the other bright pinks, you think?

Hi, Frckls! I have Simmer, but I didn't include it here because I don't consider it a bright pink. It looks like a deep pinkish red to me. I'll try to do a swatch of it. I don't have Dixie, Verve, or Ingenue, but I have some orange/coral/peach lippies and will try to do side-by-side swatches of what I have. :)

ReplyDeleteAh thank God Simmer is not bright pink according to you! That easily eliminates one on my wishlist. Perhaps it is on some people, but since I think our skin tone fall into the same category, I take your word for it. :)
