Top Three Tuesday: Face Primers

Here are my top three favorite face primers at the moment.

Benefit the POREfessional:

This is a new favorite for me. It does contain silicone, but it works very well on my skin. It minimizes the appearance of pores and fine lines, making my skin look softer and smoother. It can be used under or over makeup, and it helps to mattify the skin.

Laura Geller Spackle Under Make-Up Primer:

This is a good primer. The consistency is nice, lightweight, gel-like (slightly watery), and not super thick. It is easy to apply, goes on clear, and sets quickly to a smooth finish. It is mostly water-based with lesser amounts of silicone, so it doesn't feel super slippery or greasy like some primers do. I use this after I've applied my moisturizer, and it seems to help my skin retain moisture. It also adds a subtle glow to my face.

Korres Face Primer:

This is a great alternative to silicone-based primers. It creates a very nice and smooth canvas for my foundation, and it keeps my makeup looking fresh throughout the day. It's lightweight, fast-absorbing, and somewhat moisturizing. It also has a nice and subtle citrus scent that I really like.
