It's time to Shop My Stash again!
theBalm Shady Lady Vol. 1 Eyeshadow Palette: I like theBalm’s eyeshadows. They are soft, silky smooth, and packed with pigment. This one just got pushed to the back because of newer eyeshadow palettes.
Urban Decay Greed Primer Potion: This is a beautiful pale yellow gold. I have worn this on its own and as an eyeshadow base without creasing all day, but I haven't used it in a while because I've been wearing cream shadows a lot lately.
Urban Decay Quickie Afterglow Glide-On Cheek Tint: This looks like a bright pink with blue undertones, but it doesn't look too cool on my skin tone. It's very easy to use, and it blends into the skin very well.
MAC Strayin' Lipstick: This is from the Hello Kitty collection. It's still good, but I need to use this up soon. I plan to reuse the packaging once I'm done with the lipstick.
Coastal Scents Undercover HD Foundation: I've only worn this a few times, and I honestly can't remember why I stopped wearing it. I don't think I liked the consistency, but I'm gonna give it another try, so I can decide whether to finish it up or toss it away. (Update: I'm tossing it. It just doesn't work for me. It goes on really thick and a little greasy, but it doesn't provide enough coverage. It also accentuates dry patches, pores, imperfections, etc. To make matters worse, it broke me out.)
Do you shop your stash?
Disclosure: The products featured in this post have been purchased by me.
I try and shop my stash too. I pulled out my Shady Lady palette (I depotted all three into a Z Palette) not too long ago. I found the configuration of them to be strange on their own. The colors didn't seem to coordinate at all. I think I need to challenge myself to use my Shady Lady shadow every day for a week to come up with more combinations.
ReplyDeleteI need to depot these. I'd love to have them all in one palette!
DeleteI want to know how you're going to re-use the lipstick packaging when you're finished.
ReplyDeleteI clean out the old lipstick tube, and freeze the lipstick I want to put in it for several hours. Once it's frozen, I take the lipstick out of the freezer and wrap a wax paper around the it and gently pull it out of the tube. Then I just gently yet firmly push the lipstick into the old tube. There are tutorials on Youtube. Hope that helps! :)
