Chapped lips are the most awful part of winter. They not only look bad, they can be painful too. Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Medicated Lip Balms claim to soothe sore lips and provide 12 hours of hydration, so I picked up four of the six shades available... Pink Me Up, Soothing Sorbet, Coral Crave, and Berry Soft.

I wasn't really sure I would like these, but I'm glad I tried them. I think I like these better than the original Baby Lips. These contain eucalyptus, so they smell like Vick's Vapor Rub. (I know some people don't like the smell, but it doesn't bother me.) The menthol gives a tingling and cooling sensation which I find refreshing and invigorating. My lips do look and feel softer and smoother after one or two days of continued use.
My favorites are Pink Me Up and Soothing Sorbet. Berry Soft is nice too, but Coral Crave just looks like clear balm on my lips. I skipped Too Cool because I wanted a bit of color to even out my lip tone, and I thought Just Peachy looked a little too light for me. Overall, I really like these, and I will continue to use them to combat dry lips this winter.
