I have been wanting to try the Laura Geller Balance-N-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation, so I was very excited to receive this with the Laura Geller Ultimate Train Case I ordered from QVC.
I will update this post with a full-face photo once I have better lighting, but here's a swatch of the tan shade.
This foundation gives me light-medium coverage. It is very finely milled, looks very natural, and blends well with my skin. It only lasts about 4 hours on me (by itself), so using a primer underneath is essential if I want at least 6 hours of wear. I prefer to apply this over a tinted moisturizer (or a liquid foundation) for better coverage, but if you don't need much coverage, then you should be able to wear this by itself. I think I might try the medium shade next as this one oxidizes on me after half an hour and turns a tad too dark on my face (NC35).

I've been wanting to try Balance n Brighten too, but I worry that it's a little bit too pink. Thanks for the review!
ReplyDeleteThis shade definitely has yellow undertones.
