Tarte Bow & Go 3-in-1 Holiday Gift Collection (QVC TSV) Review & Swatches

Here are some photos and swatches of Today's Special Value at QVC... The Tarte Bow & Go 3-in-1 Gift Collection. This kit launched at QVC today, and it includes three sets.

The large purple box contains an eyeshadow palette with sixteen full-size Amazonian Clay Eyeshadows.

Here are swatches of Fig (left) and Matte Brown (right). I didn't open or swatch the mascaras as I already have a few tubes of Lights, Camera, Lashes, so I plan to give these new mascaras away.

The pink box has four Lipsurgence Lip Cremes in Precious, Promise, Thoughtful and Wonder.

Overall, I think it's a great set. A few of the lighter matte shades suffer from pigmentation issues, but most of the eyeshadows had good color payoff. They are not as intensely pigmented as Inglot, MAC, or Urban Decay eyeshadows, but they are great for softer everyday (office-friendly) looks. And of course I love the smolderEyes liners! They are so creamy, heavily pigmented, glide on smoothly without tugging, and very easy to blend. I don’t know why there are two of the same mascara formula though. Personally, I think one mascara would have been enough, but since I have this on auto-delivery, it would have made me happier if they had included four smolderEyes liners instead because I don't really need any more mascaras. I will end up with four new mascaras of the same formula, so I plan to give the mascaras away. I also really like the Lipsurgence Lip Creams. They are very creamy, nicely pigmented, and moisturizing.

All items are full size which makes this kit such a great value at $49.98! It also comes with a gold ribbon that you can tie around all three boxes as one generous gift to a family, friend, or yourself, or you can break it up into three different holiday gifts.
