Maybelline Barely Branded Color Tattoo Metal Eyeshadow Review & Swatches

Here's a review of Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal Eyeshadow in Barely Branded.

Barely Branded is a light warm champagne with a frosty finish. It could be easily used as an eyeshadow base or as a quick wash of color for when you're in a hurry. It is more yellow-toned than Barely Beige (which is definitely more pink-toned).

This is a great addition to the Color Tattoo line! It can be a bit sheer, but you can build up the opacity and intensity with more layers. The texture is smooth and creamy, and once it dries, it won't smudge or budge at all. When applied over bare skin, it lasts about 8-10 hours on me. When applied over a primer, it lasts about 14-16 hours on me. (A makeup remover is necessary!) My favorite application method is with my fingers then blended out with a blending brush like MAC 217.
